The Mortgage Rescue Network has partnered with carefully selected companies that can offer help and support in many situations.
The Mortgage Rescue Network consists of:
Rent-Back Specialists are property investors who buy homes and rent them back to the former owners, long-term. Such arrangements are called Rescue Packages and all are overseen by The Mortgage Rescue Network. Our Rent-Back Specialists will all be members of our Accreditation Scheme, are trained and supported by us and abide by a strict Code of Conduct. Rescue Packages are free of up-front costs and can include the option to renew yearly for up 20 years.
Michael Coogan, director general of the Council of Mortgage Lenders said on the 20th November 2007 that some people are facing big problems including falling into arrears and repossession. He said they will need to protect themselves, which could mean selling up and renting. Speaking to business information company Cantos, Mr Coogan said: “Those people most at risk of repossession, can avoid it by seeking to sell and becoming a tenant.”
Rescue Packages are a viable option for anyone who can afford the rent, and whose home has a favourable equity/value ratio.
Our Members all provide a high level of service and support and should you opt for a Rescue Package, you will receive a Welcome Pack and have access to our Tenants Helpline and Dispute Mediation Service."
Mortgage brokers are accepted onto our panel after demonstrating that they can provide above average levels of support to clients in distress. They are carefully chosen for their sincerity and professionalism and are happy to speak informally with you, in complete confidence. Our Mortgage Brokers are FSA-regulated and, being independent, have access to the whole range of mortgage products available.
Several of the UK's leading Estate Agents are on our panel of Partners and Advisors. Before being accepted on our panel, Estate Agents must commit to offering free advice, preferential rates and a high level of service to our clients.
We can offer the services of several very experienced debt consultants and councillors.
Consumer Credit Licensed Debt Councillors are accepted on our panel when they can demonstrate experience of successfully negotiating with creditors, or of constructing sustainable solutions to overwhelming debt problems.
The Mortgage Rescue Network does not encourage the taking out of loans or additional borrowing.
In many areas we have volunteers who, in the absence of help from other agencies, can accompany struggling homeowners to court and act as their advisor (the COURT TERM is a 'McKenzie friend').
(We greatly appreciate all of our volunteers and are urgently seeking more. If you know of someone who has direct experience of the repossession process and who may be able to commit a couple of hours a week, please ask them to get in touch. Such help really can make a big difference.)
If you just need to sell your house quickly, we offer a guaranteed sale service. We have access to property investors who are actively buying residential property in all areas of the country. Such investors are allowed to join our panel, and be considered for referrals, only after they have demonstrated their purchasing-power, sensitivity and the ability to proceed very quickly to completion. Please call us today for a free valuation and fast offer.
If you need to move away now but do not have enough equity to allow a discounted sale, we do have investors who are, in some cases, prepared to take over your mortgage payments and let your property. Such investors would sign a Lease Option Agreement, allowing them to complete the purchase at a later date. This is often suitable in cases where there is a high mortgage redemption penalty or where the investor can improve the property to add value, allowing a sale to proceed. For the benefit of both parties, such agreements will be subject to review by The Mortgage Rescue Network.
