uSwitch.com is a free, impartial online and phone based comparison and switching service that helps customers compare prices on a range of services including gas, electricity, home phone, broadband providers and personal finance products. Our aim is to help customers take advantage of the best prices and services on offer from suppliers. The company has developed a series of calculators that evaluate a number of key factors including price, location, service and payment method, and advises customers on the best deal to suit their needs.
How does uSwitch.com make money?
uSwitch.com has agreed deals with some suppliers across all our services to receive a small commission payment when a customer chooses to switch or apply for a product through us. Our commercial relationships are in place to help make the switching process as convenient as possible for our customers, and in some cases we can offer exclusive deals that are not available directly from the supplier. They also enable us to keep this a free service.
Our commercial relationships have no bearing on the ranking of suppliers in your results.
Can I trust your information to be accurate and comprehensive?
Our data

- Credit cards, personal loans, current accounts, secured loans The data we use to calculate your results for our personal finance services is supplied by an independent personal finance data publisher. They monitor all providers continually and update us daily with changes to ensure our results are comprehensive and accurate.
Suppliers
uSwitch.com takes care to include all suppliers and products available for each service where possible. However there are circumstances where a supplier or a product cannot be included in our search. We include full details of our criteria for including suppliers with each service on our site.

People use uSwitch.com because we help them make the best decision for them. We don't mind who you switch to, we just care that you switch to the best supplier for you. Switching suppliers saves our customers hundreds of pounds on their bills and is easy to do.
For example 15% of customers who switched their car insurance with uSwitch between 1st Jan 2008 and 31st March 2008 saved at least £200. While we helped 15% of our home phone switchers save at least £200 and 12.3% of dual fuel energy switchers on uSwitch save at least £325 between 1st February and 30th June 2007.
